LODGING HOUSE MISSION

Sunday Opening
Following the success of the 2016 project to commence Saturday opening, LHM decided to open on Sundays for the duration of the Glasgow Winter Night Shelter (1st December 2017 until 31st March 2018).
The LHM is delighted to tell us that the Board has made a decision to open permanently on Sundays. LHM’s opening hours are now 8am – 3pm, 364 days every year (closed only on New Year’s Day). This is a major step forward in their aim to provide food, warmth, security and a host of backup services to Glasgow’s poorest and socially excluded citizens.

Annual General Meeting
The sixteenth Annual General Meeting of the Lodging House Mission will take place at 7pm on Wednesday, 4th April at the LHM premises, 35 East Campbell Street, Glasgow G1 5DT. All are welcome to attend and find out a little more about the work of the LHM. If you would like to come along, please let me know – I can provide transport.

Craft and Card Sale
We have inherited a huge quantity of items including thousands (yes, thousands!) of individual greetings cards for all occasions; soft toys; gift wrap; key rings; invitations; packs of balloons; and glasses (i.e. tumblers).
These items will be sold as part of the “Craft and Card Sale”, which will take place from 2 – 4 pm on Saturday 14th April in the church halls. All items will be VERY reasonably priced, and proceeds from the sale of these items will go to the Lodging House Mission.
Please do come along and stock up for the year (we have birthday, Father’s Day, and christening cards, to name but a few!), and please tell all your family, friends, and neighbours to come, too
