Sunday Club Welcome Blog

Sunday Club at Greenbank Church

Hey Friends and Parents of Greenbank Sunday Club

Welcome to the Greenbank Sunday Club blog. At the Sunday Club we have lots of fun, there’s lots going on. We use songs, games, bible stories and crafts suited for each age group to learn more about God and how Jesus loves us. The Sunday Club is led by fantastic volunteers who diligently plan activities and lead the Sunday morning sessions. We meet every week at 10:20am in the church hall for ages 3 upto P4. This group is called the Trailblazers and is lead by Kate and Sharon. P5-P7s are the Sunday Squad, led by Sheena, and they meet to have fun, do amazing activities and play games. S1 upwards meet together for hot chocolate and toast and call themselves JAM (Jesus and Me). Everyone is welcome. This year’s highlights include the Nativity service, narrated by the Sunday Squad and acted by the Trailblazers (heart-melting stuff!), Christmas parties and our family trip to Greenbank Gardens for games and races, woodland walks and toasted marshmallows!

We also have an exciting newly decorated and furbished crèche, run by Wendy and Debbie. Check out its photos. The rug was a generous donation from Grace and Ross who are in the Trailblazers. Recently JAM have decorated the crèche in an amazing underwater and Noah’s ark theme with beautifully coloured rainbows and have been fundraising to buy the crèche new furniture.

We hope that through this blog, we can share with you our stories, activities and crafts of what children are doing at Greenbank Sunday Club. Please visit our pages and encourage your child to show friends and family.
