PLEASE JOIN US in supporting the 90kg Rice Challenge! Greenbank is joining hundreds of schools and faith groups who have been participating in this challenge for a number of years. We are aiming, as a congregation, to buy 90kg of fairly traded, Kilombero rice grown in Malawi. 90kg is significant as a Malawian farmer has to sell 90kg of rice in order to pay for secondary education for one child for one year. Rice will be sold after church, commencing next week. Rice (brown or white) is priced at £3.75 for a 1kg bag. Please buy a bag of rice, and remember – A bag of rice can change a life! Thank you.
