Poppy Project 2018

To mark the 100th anniversary of the 1918 Armistice you are invited to take out your knitting and crochet needles to help create a poppy display for Remembrance Sunday which falls on Sunday 11 November this year.

The poppy display will be installed in the church vestibule, alongside the war memorials, during the week prior to Remembrance Sunday. Patterns for poppies are attached- but you might prefer to use your own pattern and this is perfectly okay, as all poppies will be gratefully received. Completed poppies need to at the church by the 28th October 2018.

Donations of red/black wool would also be appreciated. Anyone requiring wool or needles to make poppies will find them on the table outside the church Office
