Tea and coffee will be served in the Fraser hall after morning worship.

The funeral service of Mrs Aileen Stewardson whose death was very sadly recently announced, will take place on Wednesday, 1st February at 3pm at Linn Crematorium.

It is with sadness that we announce the death of Mr Hamish Hunter of 1 Bards Gait, Mauchline and formerly of Beechlands Drive, Clarkston.  Mr Hunter’s funeral service will take place on Tuesday 24th January at 3pm at The Hurlet Crematorium, Glasgow Road, G53 7TH.

Please remember the family and friends of Mrs Stewardson and Mr Hunter in your prayers.

To mark the week of Prayer for Christian Unity the Clarkston Churches Together clergy will swap pulpits next Sunday.  Rev. Scott Blythe will conduct worship at Greenbank while our minister, Jeanne, will conduct worship at Netherlee and Stamperland Parish Church.

Volunteers are required between 10am and 12noon and between 12noon and 2.30pm to welcome anyone who takes up the invitation to join us on a Friday.  Please email the church office as soon as possible if you are willing to help or email/speak to Jeanne.

Bible Readers – If you are willing to read the bible lesson please add your name and email address/phone number to the list in the Centenary Chapel at the service of your choice. You will be contacted in the preceding week with the readings.

Welcoming Duty Team – There is an urgent need for volunteers to assist with this important role.  Contact Malcolm Pickard at: malcolmpickard@btinternet.com or phone him on 644 1940 if you would like to volunteer.  The duty is only once every eight weeks and swaps are easily arranged.

Lodging House Mission Donations, especially UHT milk, kettle foods e.g. pot noodles and tinned soup e.g. tomato, chicken and mushroom, can be put on the trolley in the Link building.  Sugar, toiletries, clothing, bedding, duvets and towels are not required at the moment.  Thanks,  Liz Smith.

Glasgow North East Foodbank – Nutritious foodstuffs required:  tinned meat (not Fray Bentos, tinned fruit & veg, UHT milk & juice, diluting juice, tinned & packet potato (mash), tinned rice & custard, packet custard, pasta sauces, pasta, tinned tomatoes, biscuits, Toiletries; nappies & baby wipes.
