TEA AND COFFEE is served in the Fraser Hall after the service. All welcome.

At 6pm tonight our series of Lenten studies will continue; “EXPLORING THE GOD QUESTION” takes place in the Fraser Hall. “Exploring the God Question” takes as objective an approach as possible to science, God and the search for truth and is suitable for all ages.

OUR MINISTER, Jeanne, will be on annual leave from 11th to 18th March inclusive. During this time please pass pastoral requests in the first instance either to the church office on 0141 644 1841 [during office hours] or to our Deputy Session Clerk, Peter Liddell on 0141 638 7870.

LAST CHANCE TO GET YOUR PLACE ON THE COACH – We are hoping to hire a coach to attend FERGUS COOK’S INDUCTION AND ORDINATION which is taking place at Cramond Kirk in Edinburgh on 22nd March at 6.30pm. The cost would be £11. If you are interested in coming along please add your name to the sheet in the Centenary Chapel TODAY or phone the church office tomorrow before 12noon.

THE KIRK SESSION COFFEE MORNING takes place on Saturday 21st March, tickets (£2) Children (£1) are available from Elders/Associates.

ARTICLES FOR THE APRIL edition of GOOD NEIGHBOUR should be received at the Church Office by Sunday, 15th March.

THE GUILD will be taking part in their annual Quiz on Wednesday afternoon at 2.15pm. We are grateful to Jill Liddell for coming along and organising this event for us. We will also hold a brief AGM on this afternoon.

FRIENDSHIP CAFÉ, 13th March @ 10am in the Fraser hall for tea and chat. Blair Miller (577 5449).

LODGING HOUSE MISSION is still looking for a volunteer cook to help cooking lunch (& possibly breakfast) in our busy kitchen on Saturday mornings. Other volunteers will give assistance. We have recently entered into a FOOD SHARE PARTNERSHIP WITH THE CO-OP across the road from the church to help reduce the amount of food waste by making use of, or distributing items that can no longer be sold. Anyone interested in getting involved contact Steven Owens in church or at: sowens@churchofscotland.org.uk

SNAP COMMUNITY YOUTH CLUBfundraising opportunity through the Co-op (Oct 19-Oct 20). Using a Co-op card, 1% of the cost of co-op products purchased can be donated to SNAP – just nominate them online as your preferred charity.

VOLUNTEERS TO READ THE BIBLE LESSONS over the next 3 months would be much appreciated. A new list is available in the Centenary Chapel; if you wish to read the lesson please add your name and telephone number to the service of your choice. We are always looking for new volunteers so please consider adding your name to the list. You will be contacted with the readings on the preceding Friday.
