THE INSTALLATION OF THE NEW BOILERS by British Gas is underway, with a two week contract period involving a complete interruption to any heating.  Please note that the Flower room will be unavailable for use until mid-September due to refurbishment.

THE MINUTES OF THE JUNE KIRK SESSION MEETING are available in the Centenary Chapel for those members of the Kirk Session who have not received them by email.

ARTICLES FOR THE SEPTEMBER EDITION OF Good Neighbour should be received at the Church Office by Sunday14th August.

A PRAYERS FOR HEALING SERVICE will take place in the CHURCH at 6.30pm next Sunday – all welcome. Prayer requests can be written on the pew cards and inserted in the Prayer Box at the front door of the church.

GREENBANK WALKING GROUP – On Saturday 20th August the group will be walking the West Highland Way from Milngavie to the Birch Tree Inn (8 miles) leaving the church at 9.30am. For further information please contact Douglas Robertson (639 7780) or Bill Dougherty (577 6069).

THE ANNUAL LODGING HOUSE MISSION SPONSORED CYCLE will take place on Saturday, 3rd September. We have 5 participants taking part this year so far. Please support the LHM by sponsoring them or by joining them. A sponsor form is available in the Fraser Hall during tea and coffee, or you can obtain a registration form for the event from me if you would like to take part. This is a great opportunity to raise funds for the LHM. This year the event will end at the LHM, so this is a wonderful chance to see their premises if you have not done so before. GLASGOW NE FOODBANK – Donations of tinned, packet and UHT food would be warmly welcomed. Donations can be placed in the boxes situated in the Hall of Friendship or the Link Building.

JOHN HUME LECTURE on 29th September at 6pm, Professor Ian Campbell of Edinburgh University will be presenting the SCT Annual Lecture .at St George’s Tron Church, Glasgow.
As an SCT member church you are offered priority tickets for which there will be no charge.

THE FLOWER LIST FOR 2016 is available on the transept windowsill. Anyone wishing to donate flowers is invited to add their name at the date of their choice.

ANYONE WHO WISHES TO JOIN OR KNOW MORE ABOUT GREENBANK; or knows someone who would appreciate a visit from the Minister in hospital or wishes to be prayed for, is invited to fill out one of the POSTCARDS placed on the pew boards. Completed postcards can be handed to welcome team members at the church door or posted through the letterbox at the entrance to the halls any time during the week.
