THE JANUARY ISSUE OF LIFE &WORK MAGAZINE is now available. Would subscribers please uplift their copies from the flower Room as the next Good Neighbour delivery will be the February issue. Subscription renewal details will be enclosed within this the January issue. WHAT’S ON IN GREENBANK

THE GREENBANK FILM SOCIETY will meet on Monday evening, 8th January 2018 at 7.30pm in the Session House when the whimsical romantic comedy, “Midnight in Paris” will be shown. This acclaimed film won an Oscar for Woody Allen’s screenplay and is a delight. All welcome.

THE GREENBANK COLOUR CIRCLE has its first meeting on Tuesday, 9th January at 9am and 1pm when we start our preparation for our annual Art Show and Exhibition in aid of CHAS which takes place on Saturday, 10th February. Do come along and see our year’s work and enjoy a chat in the tea room, 10am to 2pm and bring a friend. Entry catalogue and tea voucher at entry table. Tickets are on sale by Circle members at £2. This is our twentieth annual exhibition – come and see how we have matured with time.

FRIENDSHIP CAFE will meet again on Friday, 12th January at 10am in the Fraser Hall. All welcome.

 

 

VOLUNTEERS TO READ THE BIBLE LESSONS OVER THE NEXT 3 MONTHS would be much appreciated. A new list is available in the Centenary Chapel and if you would be willing to read the lesson please add your name and telephone number to the service of your choice. We are always looking for new volunteers, so even if you have never read the lesson before please consider adding your name to the list. You will be contacted on the Friday of the preceding week with the readings.

ANYONE WHO WISHES TO JOIN OR KNOW MORE ABOUT GREENBANK or knows someone who would appreciate a visit from the Minister in hospital or wishes to be prayed for, is invited to fill out one of the POSTCARDS placed on the pew boards. Completed postcards can be handed to welcome team members at the church door or posted through the letterbox at the entrance to the halls.

NB:  IN ORDER TO MAXIMISE THE LIFE SPAN OF OUR  DRAINS AND DRIVE WAY SURFACE, VEHICULAR ACCESS TO THE CHURCH IS ONLY FOR THOSE WITH LIMITED MOBILITY AND THOSE DELIVERING ITEMS TO THE CHURCH AND HALLS. YOUR SUPPORT AND COMPLIANCE WITH THIS WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.
