THE FUNERAL OF Mrs Isobel Gardner of 47 Greenholm Avenue, Clarkston, whose death was announced last week, will take place on Tuesday, 26th February at 2pm at Linn Crematorium. Please remember Mrs Gardner’s family and friends in your prayers.
THE FUNERAL of Mr John Syme of 39 Linnpark Court, Linnpark Avenue, whose death was also previously announced, will take place on Friday, 1st March at 1pm at Linn Crematorium. Please remember Mr Syme’s family and friends in your prayers.

ON TUESDAY 5TH MARCH our minister, in her capacity as one of the chaplains at Willamwood High School, is taking PANCAKES TO SCHOOL FOR THE PUPILS as the beginning of a Lent initiative to encourage the pupils to give or do something for others during Lent. Jeanne would much appreciate ANY DONATIONS OF PANCAKES which can be brought to the manse before 11am on the Tuesday.
COPIES OF THE KIRK SESSION MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF 4TH FEBRUARY are available in the Centenary Chapel.
THE WORLD DAY OF PRAYER SERVICE, St. Joseph’s Church at 11am on Friday, 1st March 2019 at 11am. Everyone welcome.
THESACRAMENT OF HOLY COMMUNION will be celebrated next Sunday, 3rd March at 10.30am and again at 6.30pm with a Family Communion Service. After these services there will be a retiring offeringon behalf of Age Concern Eastwood. Our Preparatory Service will be held on Friday 1st March at 7.30pm.
FAIRTRADEGOODS will be on sale in the halls after the service this morning, 24th February.
DISTRICT VISITORS are asked to collect their copies of Good Neighbour and Life & Work from the room off the transept today please.
THE CHURCH OFFICE will be closed on Monday but open Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday of next week.

THE KIRK SESSION COFFEE MORNING, Saturday 23rd March, tickets, price £2 (Children £1) are now available from Elders/Associates.
ASDA HAS CHOSEN SNAP COMMUNITY YOUTH CLUB as one of 3 nominees for the current green token scheme for local good causes which runs from now till the 31st March. If you are shopping there, please pop your green tokens in the Youth Club box. If we win ASDA donate £500 to our funds or 2nd and 3rd earns us £200 which would help to boost our funds. Lindy Dallas
TIME OUT is having their annual fundraiser on Thursday, 7th March at 7.30pm. This year it is a Fashion Show/Clothing Sale which promises to be an entertaining night! SUNDAY MORNING TEA ROTA IS NOW AVAILABLE FOR 2019 in the Centenary Chapel. Volunteers are still required for 10th, 17th & 24th March. If you can help, please add your details opposite the date of your choice.
CHURCH TRANSPORT – There is currently an urgent need for a driver for the Greenbank Church transport rota. The duty would involve picking up passengers 1 week in 6 and bringing them to and from the Sunday morning service. Mark Allan [638 3916].
