SNAP YOUTH CLUB VOLUNTEERS – Many thanks to everyone who has volunteered to help out with SNAP Community Youth Club. Can I offer apologies to those whom it has taken a while to contact – this was not intentional, and was due to several reasons, one of which was some technical issues with our emails. Hopefully, by the time you read this, you will have been contacted by our Committee to check if, or when, you are available to help between now and the end of June.
It remains our intention to have a rota for volunteers for after the summer break so that people are only on duty e.g. for 1 week out of 8. This rota will be drawn up and distributed as soon as possible. It will also be printed in the Good Neighbour. Please do not hesitate to call or email me if you have any questions or concerns.

SPILL THE BEANS – Spill the Stories – *remember to hand in your leaflet by next Sunday!
Spill the beans is a worship and learning resource based on the Narrative Lectionary which is produced by a resource team from the Church of Scotland. The team is considering what they are going to do in the next few years and is wondering if they should now be offering material for stories that are either not heard very often or stories that are so familiar that they are just part of our spiritual bread and butter. We are invited to return the leaflet which you were handed in the way into church last week, with our 5 favourite stories and the 5 stories we hear least in church. The team hopes to shape future resources round these suggestions. If you still need a leaflet they are available at the front of the church. When you have completed the leaflet please either put it in the box provided in the Centenary chapel, put it through Greenbank halls’ letterbox or hand it in at the church office. All completed leaflets should be handed in by Sunday 28th May.
THE SOCIAL EVENTS COMMITTEE has trialled afternoon teas in various locations and feels this is something that is worthwhile continuing in an effort to help combat loneliness in our community, particularly amongst the elderly. Volunteers from the congregation are required for this initiative, namely drivers, servers and bakers. If you would like to volunteer please add your name to the list in the Centenary Chapel or contact the church office at greenbank.office@tiscali.co.uk or on 644 1841.
