TEA AND COFFEE is served in the Fraser Hall after the service. All welcome.

THE SACRAMENT OF HOLY COMMUNION will be celebrated this morning. The retiring offering will be on behalf of Age Concern.

At 6pm the first in our series of Lenten studies, “EXPLORING THE GOD QUESTION” takes place in the Fraser Hall. “Exploring the God Question” takes as objective an approach as possible to science, God and the search for truth and is suitable for all ages.

We are hoping to hire a coach to attend FERGUS COOK’S INDUCTION AND ORDINATION which is taking place at Cramond Kirk in Edinburgh on 22nd March at 6.30pm. The cost would be £11. If you are interested in coming along please add your name to the sheet in the Centenary Chapel as soon as possible. Thank you.

THE MINUTES of the Kirk Session meeting of 23rd February & the February PRESBYTERY REPORT are available in the Centenary Chapel for those members of Kirk Session who did not receive them by email.

THE GREENBANK PLAYERS invite you to a new Murder Mystery being performed on 6th & 7th March in the Cowley Hall. Tickets for Saturday 7th are still available from members of the Players [in the Fraser hall after morning service during the tea time]. Tickets cost £10 including wine & supper.

THE KIRK SESSION COFFEE MORNING takes place on Saturday 21st March, tickets (£2) Children (£1) are available from Elders/Associates.

ATTENTION RETIRED ELDERS & ASSOCIATES – Have you uplifted your Kirk Session Coffee Morning tickets from the Centenary chapel? If not, please do so.

DISTRICT VISITORS who have not already done so are asked to collect their copies of the MarchGood Neighbour and Life & Work from the room off the transept today please.

ARTICLES FOR THE APRIL edition of GOOD NEIGHBOUR should be received at the Church Office by Sunday, 15th March.

MANY THANKS TO EVERYONE who donated Shrove Tuesday pancakes for the beginning of Jeanne’s Lent initiative at Williamwood High School. There was a great response to the appeal for pancakes and they were very much enjoyed by the pupils.

THE CHURCH OFFICE will be closed on Monday instead of Wednesday this week.

THE GREENBANK FILM SOCIETY – “Blue Jasmine”, starring Cate Blanchett and Alec Baldwin and directed by Woody Alllen, will be shown, weather permitting, on Monday, 2nd March.

Dr. Ian Dale will be visiting THE GUILD on Wednesday at 2.15pm. The title of his talk is: ‘How to poison your spouse! Visitors welcome.

THE WORLD DAY OF PRAYER SERVICE will take place on Friday, 6th March at 10.30am at St. Aidan’s Episcopal Church. This service is open to everyone and we hope to have a good representation from Greenbank.

VOLUNTEERS TO READ THE BIBLE LESSONS over the next 3 months would be much appreciated. A new list is available in the Centenary Chapel; if you wish to read the lesson please add your name and telephone number to the service of your choice. We are always looking for new volunteers so please consider adding your name to the list. You will be contacted with the readings on the preceding Friday.

SCRIPTURE UNION BIBLE READING NOTES for the next quarter are available for those who ordered them in the Centenary Chapel.

THANK YOU to all the volunteers who answered the appeal for volunteers for the SUNDAY MORNING TEA ROTA. The next spaces in our rota are in the month of June. If you can help, please add your details to the list in the Centenary Chapel.

We have recently entered into a FOOD SHARE PARTNERSHIP WITH THE CO-OP across the road from the church to help reduce the amount of food waste by making use of, or distributing items that can no longer be sold. Anyone interested in getting involved contact Steven Owens in church or at:
