THE BOARD OF Lodging House Mission has made a decision to open permanently on a Sunday. LHM’s opening hours are now: 8am – 3pm, 364 days every year (closed NY day). This is a major step forward in our aim to provide food warmth, security and a host of backup services to Glasgow’s poorest and socially excluded citizens.
JOIN THE PRAISE GATHERING 2018 CHOIR – would you like to be part of the 300+ voice praise gathering choir and sing with us at Perth Concert Hall and Glasgow Royal Concert Hall on 16th and 24th June 2018? No experience is necessary, just a heart for praising God! This year’s programme contains songs from Hillsong Worship, Matt Redman, Zach Williams, and David Crowder, alongside some traditional hymns, and songs old and new from the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir. Cynthia Greene, a soloist with the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir, will be our special guest.
REHEARSALS start after the Easter school holidays in Glasgow (on Mondays), Edinburgh (on Tuesdays) and Perth (on Thursdays), so there’s a venue near you! We are praying that these will be special evenings of praise and fellowship as we learn some new songs together.
PRAISE GATHERING YOUTH CHOIR – We are delighted to be launching the PG Youth Choir this year for P5-S4 – the kids will rehearse separately in Glasgow on Mondays and join the adult choir at the concerts. More details on our website. Email: dave@praisegathering.org.uk for more information.
