TEA AND COFFEE will be served in the Fraser Hall after the morning service. All welcome.

THE CONGREGATION wish Kirsty Milne and Gavin Macphee, whose wedding takes place on Saturday, 23rd March, every blessing on the occasion of their marriage.

THERE WILL BE A MEETING OF THE KIRK SESSION in the church on Sunday, 24th March, after morning service, to approve both the Financial Statements for the year ended 31st December 2018 and the Data Protection Policy; copies of all the papers can be found in the Centenary Chapel for those who have not received them by email.

THE KIRK SESSION COFFEE MORNING takes place on Saturday 23rd March, tickets (£2) Children (£1) are available from Elders/Associates. Ticket monies will be gratefully received by Alan Veitch or can be handed in at church office.

Donations of cakes, scones and other home baking will be welcomed in the church kitchen on Friday evening from 6.30pm onwards and on Saturday morning.

If you volunteered to help you should have received a note from Alan this week, if not, please ask him at Sunday teas.

ARTICLES FOR THE APRIL EDITION of Good Neighbour should be received at the Church Office by TODAY.  

SNAP COMMUNITY YOUTH CLUB is one of 3 nominees for the green token scheme running in Asda till 31st March. Ask for tokens at the checkout & pop them in the Youth Club box – ASDA donates£500 to our funds if we win.

JOE’S CAFÉ HOLIDAY CLUB – would everyone who is interested in helping at the Holiday club taking place from Monday, 8th April to Friday, 12thApril please see Alison Harvey in Hall of Friendship after morning service on Sunday 24th March.

THE HOLIDAY CLUB NEEDS YOUR JAM JAR LIDS & 500ML PLASTIC BOTTLES (COLA, WATER ETC.) Please leave in allocated bag in the Hall of Friendship. Thank you, Alison Harvey (07742282870).

TUESDAY NIGHT HOLY WEEK SERVICE AT GREENBANK: On Sunday, 14th April there will be a rehearsal at Greenbank at 5pm, for the Tuesday night Holy week service. All young people wishing to take part in the service are invited to attend.

THE CHURCH OFFICE will be closed on Tuesday, 19th March and Wednesday, 20th March; opening on the Monday, Thursday and Friday, 9am to 2.30pm.

THE SUNDAY MORNING TEA ROTA IS NOW AVAILABLE FOR 2019 in the Centenary Chapel. Volunteers are still required for the whole month of April. If you can help, please add your details at the date of your choice.

DISTRICT VISITORS: District 51 has no visitor at present, 10 homes, all on Greenwood Road, ideal for a man? Anyone willing to help, please contact Margot/Gordon Blyth (638 7646).

VOLUNTEERS TO READ THE BIBLE LESSONS would be much appreciated. A list is available in the Centenary Chapel. If you would be willing to read the lesson, add your name and telephone number to the service of your choice. You will be contacted on the Friday of the preceding week with the readings. Thank you.

THERE IS CURRENTLY AN URGENT NEED FOR A DRIVER for the Greenbank Church transport rota. The duty would involve picking up and taking home passengers 1 week in 6 on a Sunday morning. Mark Allan [638 3916].

WHAT’S ON AT GREENBANK

A PRAYERS FOR HEALING SERVICE will take place in the CHURCH at 6.30pm tonight, 17TH MARCH – all welcome. Prayer requests can be written on the pew cards and inserted in the Prayer Box at the front door of the church.

THE GUILD look forward to a musical afternoon on Wednesday provided by the musical group, ‘Harmony’. This is the closing meeting of our 2018/2019 Session.

THE FIRST OUTING OF THE YEAR OF GREENBANK WALKING GROUP will be on Saturday, 30th March to Whitelees Windfarm, leaving from the Church at 10am. If you intend to come along or for more details contact Grace Paterson (638 6350) or Audrey Thomson (639 5822).

FRIENDSHIP CAFÉ, Fridays @ 10am, at the church halls, come for a cup of tea and a blether. B Miller (577 5449)

ANYONE WHO WISHES TO JOIN OR KNOW MORE ABOUT GREENBANK; or knows someone who would appreciate a visit from the Minister in hospital or wishes to be prayed for, is invited to fill out one of the POSTCARDS placed on the pew boards. Completed postcards can be handed to welcome team members at the church door or posted through the letterbox at the entrance to the halls.
