TEA AND COFFEE will be served in the Fraser Hall after the morning service. All welcome.

THE ‘WEEK OF PRAYER FOR CHRISTIAN UNITY’ runs from 18th– 25thJanuary each year. This year the Sunday that falls within the week is on the 20th. On that day, in the morning, as part of a pulpit exchange, Fr. Stephen Baillie from St Joseph’s will take our Sunday service here in Greenbank. Our Minister will participate in the worship and preach at the service in St Joseph’s on the same day. In the evening, beginning at 6.30pm, there will then be an opportunity for everyone to meet up at Cartsbridge Evangelical Church for a special CCT service of worship featuring Alister Bull, Training and Development Officer with the organisation Hope for Justice. All welcome.

ARTICLES FOR THE FEBRUARY EDITION OFGOOD NEIGHBOUR should be received at the Church Office by today.

WHAT’S ON AT GREENBANK

A PRAYERS FOR HEALING SERVICE will take place in the CHURCH at 6.30pmtonight – all welcome.

Prayer requests can be written on the pew cards and inserted in the Prayer Box at the front door of the church.

CLARKSTON CHURCHES TOGETHER The AGM of Clarkston Churches Together takes place this coming Tuesday 15 January beginning at 12noon at Greenbank Parish Church halls. All welcome to attend.

KNITTING FOR ALL CLASSES Tuesdays from 7.15pm-8.45pm. Contact Helen Howard on 07929 984873 or h.howard@knittingforall.co.uk or or via Facebook KnittingForAll:Clarkston&Giffnock to book your place.

THE GUILD will meet on Wednesday afternoon at 2.15pm when the speaker will be Kevin Simpson who will be informing us of the work being done in connection with the ‘Malawi Fruits’ Project which Greenbank Guild is supporting.

SUNDAY MORNING TEA ROTA IS NOW AVAILABLE FOR 2019 in the Centenary Chapel. If you can help, please add your details opposite the date of your choice.

VOLUNTEERS TO READ THE BIBLE LESSONS OVER THE NEXT 3 MONTHS would be much appreciated. Please add your name and telephone number to the service of your choice. You will be contacted on the Friday of the preceding week with the readings.

CHURCH TRANSPORT – There is currently an urgent need for a driver for the Greenbank Church transport rota. The duty would involve picking up passengers 1 week in 6 and bringing them to and from the Sunday morning service. Passengers greatly appreciate this facility, without which many would not be able to attend church regularly. If you can help, please contact Mark Allan on 638 3916.

REQUEST FROM LHM – LHM has been overwhelmed by generous gifts at Christmas time. These items, including toiletries, are currently in the church hall at LHM, and require to be sorted and moved to storage. Could you spare some time on any date to help with this? It may suit people to go as a team, and as LHM is now open 7 days, weekdays or weekends are possible. If you are able to help with this, please see me after the service. Alison Allan (638 3916)

ANYONE WHO WISHES TO JOIN OR KNOW MORE ABOUT GREENBANK; or knows someone who would appreciate a visit from the Minister in hospital or wishes to be prayed for, is invited to fill out one of the POSTCARDS placed on the pew boards. Completed postcards can be handed to welcome team members at the church door or posted through the letterbox at the entrance to the halls.
