WHAT’S ON IN GREENBANK

A TIME TO REMEMBER SERVICE will be held in the Church tonight at 6.30pm to commemorate loved ones no longer with us at Christmas. During the service names of loved ones will be placed on a special Christmas Remembrance Tree which will remain in the church sanctuary that we all may know that this time of year belongs not only to us and our church, but also our loved ones as we journey together towards the One born for us at Christmas. Anyone who wishes to come to the service will be made very welcome.  If you can’t manage along to the service but wish someone’s name to be placed on the tree, please record it in the Christmas Book of Remembrance which is in the Centenary Chapel.

THE FESTIVAL OF NINE LESSONS AND CAROLS will take place on Sunday 18th December at 7pm. If you would like to attend the service and would appreciate a lift to and from the church, even if you don’t normally use Church Transport to attend the morning service, then please provide your name and contact details on the sheet in the Centenary Chapel. Volunteers who would be willing to assist with collecting and dropping off those wanting a lift are requested to put their names and contact details down on the sheet headed “Volunteer drivers”, also in the Centenary Chapel. Closer to the service, contact will be made with those wishing transport/able to provide transport in order to finalise arrangements.

FAIRTRADE GOODS will be on sale in the halls after the morning service next Sunday, 18th December.
