VOLUNTEERS ARE REQUIRED TO ASSEMBLE CHRISTINGLES for the Children’s Christmas Eve Service. We plan to assemble on Friday 23rd December at 10am. If you can help, please add your name to the sheet in the Centenary Chapel.
DATES TO NOTE THIS CHRISTMAS WEEK:
- THURSDAY 22ND DECEMBER Christmas Family Film Night at 5pm. Come and join us in the church for mulled wine and mince pies and enjoy the Christmas classic “It’s a Wonderful Life”. (crèche available) The children’s film will be shown in the Fraser Hall at the same time Registration for Crèche opens at 5pm or can be pre-booked by calling Gill at 07584437 587. Hot dogs and juice provided for the children. Admission free/donations welcome. VOLUNTEERS needed to help with crèche.
- SATURDAY 24th DECEMBER Children’s Christmas Eve Service: 6.30pm; Christmas Eve Watchnight Service: 11.30pm; [Mulled wine in halls from 11pm].
- SUNDAY 25TH DECEMBER Christmas Day Family Worship: 10.30am.
AT ALL GREENBANK CHRISTMAS SERVICES A RETIRING OFFERING WILL BE TAKEN IN AID OF C.H.A.S. The Children’s Hospice Association Scotland [CHAS] provides the only hospice service in Scotland for children and young people with life limiting conditions. A children’s hospice offers professional care, practical help and emotional support to the whole family usually from the day of acceptance to the death of their children and beyond.
THIS WEEK £600 + GIFT AID WAS RAISED FOR AL SHUROOQ SCHOOL. Thank you to everyone who contributed to and helped at the Christmas at the Manse day and made this wonderful total possible. It will make such a difference to the children at the school.
