VOLUNTEERS TO READ THE BIBLE LESSONS OVER THE NEXT 3 MONTHS would be much appreciated. Please add your name and telephone number to the list in the Centenary Chapel at the service of your choice. You will be contacted on the Friday of the preceding week with the readings. Thank you.
A MEMBER OF THE CHURCH, FRASER SIMPSON, is developing a new website and has the following request: The website is short of photographs, in particular pictures of the congregation taking part in church events and clubs. I would also like to feature some pictures of weddings and christenings at the church. If you have any pictures we could use, please email them directly to Fraser at webmaster@greenbankglasgow.org.uk and give him the details of what the event is. Many thanks.
SCRIPTURE UNION BIBLE READING NOTES for the next quarter are available for those who ordered them in the Centenary Chapel today.
PLASTIC MILK CARTONS ARE NEEDED FOR THE HOLIDAY CLUB (4 pint/2 litre). Please leave in the bag provided in the Hall of Friendship.

WORSHIP AT OUR LOCAL CARE HOMES: Greenbank is one of a group of local churches who are on a rota for taking worship on Sunday afternoons at Bonnyton, Eastwoodhill, Mearnskirk and Williamwood care homes. The services last for half an hour and mainly involve singing some of the old favourite hymns and choruses. Each team is only required every two to three months so it would not be a heavy commitment. If you are interested in becoming involved with this worship, please contact Elizabeth Wishart (644 4471) or Jane Livingston (586 6272).
SAINSBURY’S ACTIVE KIDS VOUCHERS are being collected by John Meek for B.B. equipment. There is a designated box in the Hall of Friendship.

SATURDAY MORNING BOOK CLUB: During Lent a number of people came to the Lenten Book Club on Saturday mornings and we managed to read to the end of the book of Numbers. The conversations were informal, informative and enjoyable and those who took part decided that they would like the Book Club to continue. The Saturday Morning Book Club will therefore continue once a month. The dates set for each meeting in 2016 are 30th April, 28th May, and 25th June, with a break for holidays continuing on 17th September, 29th October, and 26th November. The Book Club will meet at 9am for one hour with breakfast refreshments being served from 8.45am. Beginning with Deuteronomy we will be reading from the OLD TESTAMENT COVENANT HISTORY – a fresh presentation of the Old Testament historical books. If you would like a copy of the book we are reading please contact the Church office so one can be ordered for you. I look forward to seeing you there. – Jeanne.
LODGING HOUSE MISSION EASTER APPEAL: Please support the LHM this Easter by making a cash donation. The LHM regrets if it seems that they are repeatedly asking for money, but the reality of their work is that they can only continue to offer food and shelter to Glasgow’s homeless and hungry through the kindness and generosity of churches like ours. This Easter, their numbers are likely to be significantly higher, given that the LHM has been hosting the Winter Night Shelter. Donations can be made by post (Lodging House Mission, 35 East Campbell Street, Glasgow G1 5DT ), telephone ( 0141 552 0285 ), online via their website www.lhm-glasgow.org.uk, or you can see me for a donation envelope. Thank you for your continued support. Alison Allan
