After 14 years of service to the Guiding Movement within Greenbank Parish, I have decided to step down as Rainbow Leader of the 2nd Clarkston Rainbows Unit from May 2018. So we are actively looking for someone to take over the running of the unit from September 2018.

‘VOLUNTEERING VOCATIONS’, A GAP YEAR SCHEME FOR YOUNG ADULTS AGED 18 – 25, has been running since 2015, and has proved a positive and inspiring experience for volunteers and their placement congregations alike. HOME BAKING REQUIRED. As you know Jeanne’s installation as Moderator of Glasgow Presbytery takes place on Sunday 26th June. There will be a number of invited guests, as well as members of Presbytery and of course ourselves. Tea and coffee will be served afterwards and it would be really good if members of the congregation could provide some of Greenbank’s legendary home baking for the occasion. The event is held at Gartmore House near Stirling, beginning at 5pm on Friday 19th and ending at 5pm on Monday 22nd August.
