Greenbank Church Legacy for future Generations

LEGACY In a letter to all members in September, I let you know that the Kirk Session had agreed that redeveloping and extending the current sanctuary building was their preferred option for the future. The letter explained that this would mean retaining the current sanctuary building, removing the pews and adding an extension on the manse side to comprise a multi-purpose hall, toilets, office, meeting areas and soft play space. Greenbank Church Kirk Session

The Kirk Session met on 4th November with 44 members attending and they discussed a wide range of issues. Worship: The Kirk Session noted the busy schedule of December Christmas Services and that the church choir was rehearsing for the Nine Lessons and Carols which was taking place on the 15th December at 10.30am. Messy Church continues to attract an average attendance of 35 children and 15 adults. 223 GLASGOW COMPANY BOYS’ BRIGADE CHRISTMAS CARD DELIVERY 2019 The B.B. boys will be delivering Christmas Cards within the Parish again this year. CHRISTMAS FAIR SATURDAY 23rd November, 10am to 1pm. Tickets for this year’s Christmas Fair are on sale or available at the door on the day. Donations for all the stalls should be brought to the Church or left in the box in the Hall of Friendship.
