Greenbank Church Kirk Session

The Kirk Session met on 5th November with 53 members attending and they discussed a wide range of issues. Worship: Among the worship reports was one from Messy Church which is proving very successful with about 35 children attending the last meeting. Thanks were expressed to members of the Worship Group for leading two of the morning services in October. Due to a broken underground pipe our central heating system is unable to heat the halls at the moment. We have temporary heating in place and all going well the pipe will be repaired next week. Greenbank Church Donation to Indonesia Tsunami Appeal

The Church has sent £1,000 to the Disasters Emergency Committee in respect of the Indonesia Tsunami Appeal. The money has come from the Church’s Crisis Fund, which was set up to enable Greenbank to respond quickly to crises around the world. It is funded from donations the congregation makes for the tea and coffee served after the weekly Sunday services as well as receipts from the annual Kirk Session Coffee morning....
