We are looking to recruit two Communtiy Youth Workers to work at SNAP aSaturday night community youth club with the aim of alleviating social isolation and loneliness amongst young people in the local community. The club will provide a fun, safe, supportive, inclusive and comfortable environment for young people aged Primary 7 to Secondary 3 and give them the opportunity to create friendships with their peers, leaders and adult volunteers. The Clarkston and District Christian aid committee has been busy fundraising over the past session in a variety of events. The treasurer’s report summarises the results of the various activities as follows: Greenbank contributed £864 to the £3,724 raised in last year’s sponsored swim in October 2015. The total income from the Annual Art exhibition held in March 2016 was £11,432. Profit from the event was £4,274 after artists’ fees and expenses. Figures for the Annual Christian Aid week door to door collection in May 2016 show that Greenbank collectors gathered £3,776,......

HOME BAKING REQUIRED. As you know Jeanne’s installation as Moderator of Glasgow Presbytery takes place on Sunday 26th June. There will be a number of invited guests, as well as members of Presbytery and of course ourselves. Tea and coffee will be served afterwards and it would be really good if members of the congregation could provide some of Greenbank’s legendary home baking for the occasion.
