Greenbank Church Donation to Indonesia Tsunami Appeal

The Church has sent £1,000 to the Disasters Emergency Committee in respect of the Indonesia Tsunami Appeal. The money has come from the Church’s Crisis Fund, which was set up to enable Greenbank to respond quickly to crises around the world. It is funded from donations the congregation makes for the tea and coffee served after the weekly Sunday services as well as receipts from the annual Kirk Session Coffee morning....

LODGING HOUSE MISSION Sunday Opening Following the success of the 2016 project to commence Saturday opening, LHM decided to open on Sundays for the duration of the Glasgow Winter Night Shelter (1st December 2017 until 31st March 2018). The LHM is delighted to tell us that the Board has made a decision to open permanently on Sundays. LHM’s opening hours are now 8am – 3pm, 364 days every year (closed only on New Year’s Day). Greenbank Church Taking part in Sleep in the Park

Greenbank congregation taking part in Sleep in the Park We now have a team of four people taking part – our minister, Jeanne, along with Annrose Bisset, Hilary Carswell, and Alison Allan. They will sleep out in Princes Street Gardens, Edinburgh, overnight on Saturday, 9th December, with 9,000 others.
