LODGING HOUSE MISSION Sunday Opening Following the success of the 2016 project to commence Saturday opening, LHM decided to open on Sundays for the duration of the Glasgow Winter Night Shelter (1st December 2017 until 31st March 2018). They will sleep out in Princes Street Gardens, Edinburgh, overnight on Saturday, 9th December, with 9,000 others. CHRISTIAN AID WEEK CELEBRATES ITS 60TH ANNIVERSARY THIS YEAR and several events are planned including a Jamboree event to be held on 25/2/17 from 1-5pm in Langside Parish Church. At this event you can hear about the breadth of the work of Christian Aid from the new head of team Sally Foster-Fulton, get ideas and resources, support each other, and take part in an ideas swap. We are looking to recruit two Communtiy Youth Workers to work at SNAP aSaturday night community youth club with the aim of alleviating social isolation and loneliness amongst young people in the local community. The club will provide a fun, safe, supportive, inclusive and comfortable environment for young people aged Primary 7 to Secondary 3 and give them the opportunity to create friendships with their peers, leaders and adult volunteers.
