THIS MORNING we welcome Martin Bennie who will be accompanying us on the organ.
SATURDAY MORNING BOOK CLUB, Room A, 1st Saturday of each month beginning Saturday 3rd August reading ‘The Books of the Bible – The Prophets ’ which is a fresh yet ancient presentation of Scripture, using the full NIV text using an 8 month reading plan. Breakfast refreshments are served form 8.45am for a 9am start. The book [accompanied by a reading plan] have been placed church in the Centenary Chapel.
FAIRTRADE GOODS will be on sale in the halls after the service on 4th August.
THIS WEEK THE CHURCH OFFICE will again be CLOSED on Monday instead of Wednesday.
LIAISON REPORTS for the last year are due by the end of July to allow time to prepare for the next session meeting. They can be left with Jeanette MacKay or handed to any of the door team members.
THORNLIEBANK GUILD is going to show the Guild Annual Gathering live on Saturday, 7th September in their Church. Anyone wishing more information please see Elizabeth Cross (638 5162) as soon as possible.
PLEASE NOTE, over the summer LIFE & WORK will not be delivered by the district visitors. Subscribers can collect their August edition from TODAY, 28th July from the Flower Room.
INTER-CHURCH BOWLING COMPETITION – Saturday 3 August. This will be a triples competition at Giffnock Bowling Club. Anyone interested in playing, or wanting to find out more, contact Liz Allan on 644 1725.

Completed postcards can be handed to welcome team members at the church door or posted through the letterbox at the entrance to the halls.
