Hear us as we use words of encouragement and comfort to one another.

Help us to stifle words spoken in hatred or anger,

and fill our hearts with forgiveness and love.

THERE WILL BE A MEETING OF THE KIRK SESSION in the Session House this morning at 11.45am.

THERE WILL BE AMEETING OF THE KIRK SESSION on Monday 2nd September. Papers are now available in the Centenary chapel for those who have not received them by email.

A PRAYERS FOR HEALING SERVICE will take place in the CHURCH at 6.30pm next Sunday, 1st September – all welcome. Prayer requests can be written on the pew cards and inserted in the Prayer Box at the front door of the church.

THE BOOK CLUB next meets on 31st August a week earlier than usual. Meetings last one hour with breakfast refreshments served from 8.45am for a 9am start.

FLYERS FOR COMMUNITY FUN DAY – please take a bundle of flyers advertising our Fun Day on 31st August and distribute them as widely as possible. You will find the flyers in the Centenary Chapel. Thank you.

DISTRICT VISITORS are asked to collect their copies of Good Neighbour and Life & Work from the room off the transept today please.

TOMBOLA PRIZES & BAKING REQUIRED for COMMUNITY FUN DAY on 31st August. Please leave Tombola prizes in the box in Hall of friendship. Baking can be brought to the halls’ kitchen either the night before or the morning of the Fun Day. Thank you in anticipation of your generosity.

TEA/COFFEE ROTA: Volunteers are required for September. Please add your details to the list in the Centenary Chapel opposite the date/s of your choice.
