IT IS WITH SADNESS that we announce the death of Mr John (Jack) Mellish of 10 Stamperland Gardens, Clarkston. Mr Mellish’s funeral will take place on Thursday, 17th October at 1pm at Linn Crematorium. Please remember Mr Mellish’s family and friends in your prayers.

SLEEPING BEAUTY –The Runway Theatre Group, who rounded off our 135th Birthday Party so wonderfully, donated their services for free. In return, we have agreed to make a block booking for one of their productions. We are therefore proposing a church outing to their pantomime during the first week in December. In order to gauge numbers, preferred dates and whether transport would be worth arranging, there is a sheet on the table in the Centenary Chapel where you can express your interest and find out more information about tickets prices. It should be great fun and, from what we heard at the party, the quality of the singing will be outstanding.

GOOD NEIGHBOUR – Articles for the November edition of Good Neighbour should be received at the Church Office by today, Sunday, 13th October.
