Prayer of the week

WHAT'S ON AT GREENBANK:

A short Communion Service will take place today at 3.00pm for those who were unable to attend services last week.

A Prayers for Healing Service will take place in the church hall this evening at 6.30pm - all welcome.  Prayer requests can be written on the pew cards and inserted in the Prayer Box at the front door of the church.

Junior Choir meets today to practise songs for the Christian Aid Coffee Morning, taking place on Sat. 22nd Nov. 10am-12noon.

The Age Gap practice to be held after the service today has been rescheduled and there will now be a practice straight after church on Sunday 16th November before going to Thornliebank.  On Sunday 16th November at 3pm, Age Gap will be leading a Celebration of Praise in Thornliebank Parish Church.

Captain Kenneth Sandison of the Salvation Army will be visiting the Guild on Wednesday afternoon.  The title of his talk is “Home of Joy – Uganda”.

The church choir meets on Thursdays in the Session House at 7.30pm.  All are welcome!  Please note dedicated Christmas rehearsals start on Thursday 20th November in the Session House and every Thursday thereafter – anyone wishing to come along and augment us for Christmas should speak to Ally in the first instance.

Greenbank’s Friendship Café meets on Friday 14th November between 10am and 11.30am in the church halls.  All welcome.  

The next Greenbank Recital is on Saturday 15th November at 1pm with Peter Howard, organist of Eaglesham Parish church.  Admission is free and tea and coffee are served afterwards.  All are welcome to come along.

The final outing of the season of the Walking Group is to Chatelherault and the Avon Water near Hamilton on Saturday 15th November, leaving from the church at 10am.  Please note the change of date.  If you wish to attend, please contact **.

Fairtrade goods will be on sale in the halls on Sunday, 16th November.
