Guild & Time Out"Whose I am and Whom I serve"

The Guild, formerly the Woman's guild, meets on Wednesday afternoons between September and March and membership is open to all members of the congregation. Gentlemen are warmly welcomed and are thoroughly spoiled by the hospitality of the ladies.

We enjoy many activities throughout the year, speakers, musical entertainment, slides, demonstrations, etc. Of course we enjoy the friendship and fellowship of just being together and chatting. We are particularly good at that!

Time Out

This group meets in the Church Halls each fortnight from September to March. We meet on Thursday evenings at 8.00 pm and aim to have left by 10 o'clock - but chatter usually prevails instead. We invite speakers along to talk on a wide range of subjects - colour consultancy, the Samaritans, reflexology, cookery, floral art demonstrations and even the occasional keep-fit night. After our speaker has finished comes the serious business of supper and a chat.

We also have occasional 'nights-out' e.g. ten-pin bowling or sampling some of the local cuisine.

The group is open to all women of the Church. We guarantee you a warm welcome, and a good night out. Come along - you'll probably meet someone you already know!

If you wish to come along this session please look out for the intimations in Good Neighbour or the Order of Service leaflets - they'll keep you up-to-date with our meetings.

Please contact the Church Office or the webmaster who will pass on contact details.
