GREENBANK BADMINTON CLUB

The Badminton Club has finished a very enjoyable and successful season.  Over the year the Club attracted new members and all who attended thoroughly enjoyed good games and friendship.

The highlight of the season was the success of Rebecca, Laura and Stuart who were winners in the Under 16 section of the Thornlee Inter Church Tournament.  Congratulations to these very worthy winners.

The new session starts in September and if you are interested in joining we will be pleased to welcome you any Tuesday evening around 7.15pm.

COSY COFFEEHOUSE

The coffeehouse is up and running and toast, biscuits and hot drinks are being enjoyed by those coming along after school on a Friday afternoon from 3pm till 4ish.

Please let us know if you can help with this.  There is a rota and therefore the commitment is only one hour every 4-5 weeks.  (The more names on the rota, the less time required by everyone).

You may have noticed the centre pages of your (paper) magazine now list a number of sponsors who will, over the following twelve months, be supporting the cost of publishing our Good Neighbour Magazine.  I hope you will in return, support our sponsors, by letting them know that you have seen their advert  and where you saw it.  Greenbank Church will not be held responsible for any contract negotiated by or on behalf of any person purchasing or receiving services provided by our Sponsors.

WANTED

Over the past six months an advertising initiative has been ongoing in the Good Neighbour.  I have had positive feedback from advertisers and readers. In an attempt to continue the initiative and encourage some new advertisers, possibly extending the number of adverts, I would be obliged if you would contact me if you know of an individual or small company who may be interested in such advertising.
