SUNDAY SCHOOL GIFT SERVICE
Sunday 7 December
The
Sunday School would like to invite everyone to bring a gift on Sunday 7th
December to help brighten up what might otherwise be a rather bleak Christmas
for some children and families in our city.
Gifts are collected for
3 groups:
-
Church
House in Bridgeton - gifts are requested for girls and boys aged 8 -12.
-
Ward 71, a
unit at the Princess Royal Maternity Hospital that cares for young, often
homeless, mothers: gifts of new-born clothes for the babies and toiletries for
the mother are requested. Nothing second hand please.
-
Scottish Council for the Care and Rehabilitation of Offenders (SACRO):
gifts of CD tokens for girls and boys of ages 13-18 would be most appreciated.
We
know that these organisations greatly value the gifts we have been able to
provide over the years. Let's help make a difference this year by satisfying a
real need at Christmas time. Your help, which may seem small to you, will make
a big difference to others. Please bring along a new, unwrapped gift on
Sunday 7th December and join the Sunday School by placing it under
the Christmas tree in the church. We thank you for your support this year and
in the past.
