PARISH REGISTER & FLOWER LIST

The Parish Register is the list of baptisms, marriages, deaths and those joining the church, sometimes with brief biographical details. Because of our policy of not publishing full names and contact details on the web the Parish Register and the Flower List are omitted from the web version of the magazine. Paper copies are available from the church and the church office or the  webmaster will be happy to provide details.

A big thank you to all who brought flowers for use at our harvest service.  Thanks are also due to the people who delivered flowers to our members and to those who offered their services but were not required this time.

Would the flower committee please note that the date of the next meeting is Tuesday 11th November at 7.30pm in Room A.

ST ANDREWS CEILIDH 2008

It hardly seems like almost a year since 150 Greenbankers, their friends and relatives danced the night away to the superb The Rusty Nail ceilidh band.

This year’s ceilidh will be held on Saturday 22nd November in the church halls from 7.00pm to 10.00pm.  The Rusty Nail are joining us again to make the evening go with swing and a finger buffet is included.

The young people in the church will be assisting with the organisation of the evening so we would ask you to give them your support by coming along.  They and other members of the congregation will be selling tickets after Sunday service from 26th October until 16th November.

Tickets are priced £7.50 for adults, £5.00 for children 14 and under and £23.00 for a family ticket for two adults and two children.

The ceilidh is always a hugely enjoyable evening so buy your tickets early to avoid disappointment.
