Anchor boys

This is the youngest section of the BB and meets on a Thursday in the Cowley Hall. There are many activities for the boys which start them off on the ladder and prepare them for the Junior Section.

Junior Section

The Junior Section welcomes boys in primaries 4, 5 and 6 and meets in the Cowley Hall. Our activities each session include drama, singing, quizzes, team games, marching and of course the achievement scheme, which covers many different items. Lastly, no week would be complete without our weekly dose of football. We field two teams most Saturdays and our aim is to give the boys as many games as possible each session.

Company Section

Our Boys' Brigade Company meets regularly on five days every week. For boys from primary 7 to secondary 5 (inclusive) there is a broad ranging programme of activities, sports and interests.
Badminton, basketball, cricket, football, table tennis, volleyball, athletics, cross country, expeditions, games, gymnastics, ski-ing, swimming, first aid, crime prevention, woodwork, model making, chess, photography and cookery are all included in our regular meetings.
Go to summer camp, travel around Scotland for competitions, make new friends and muchh, much more. Our programme is comprehensive, providing for a boy's social, educational, and physical as well as spiritual needs. all this, within the caring Christian environment of our church membership, is exciting, demanding, challenging and above all, rewarding.

Senior section

The Senior Section meets informally every second Monday evening. No uniform is worn. The age ranges from 17-23 with a turnout of approximately 15. We usually invite speakers, both religious and secular, to speak to us at our meetings. However we also discuss topical issues among ourselves.
In addition, our activities include community service to the Salvation Army, and physical activities like five-a-side football, go-carting and 10-pin bowling.
